Acceptance of Abstract for KASICON 2025 – Important Instructions

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION CLOSED

Dear Delegates,
We are pleased to inform you that your submitted abstract has been accepted for presentation as a poster/paper at KASICON 2025, scheduled to be held in Thrissur on May 16–18, 2025.
To confirm the category of your accepted presentation, please refer to this document

General Instructions:
1. ASI membership, conference registration, and a bonafide certificate from your HOD are mandatory for participation.
2. Please refer to the attached schedule chart to determine whether your abstract has been accepted as a poster or paper. The chart also contains details regarding the allotted hall, session, and presentation time.
3. Bring your presentation stored on a pen drive and report to the designated hall 30 minutes before your scheduled presentation. Personal laptops are not permitted.
4. Additionally, email your presentation to abstractkasicon@gmail.com no later than 5:00 PM on May 10, 2025.
5. Poster and paper presentations will take place on May 17, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM. Punctuality is essential.

Instructions for Poster Presentation:
1. Posters will be presented across 12 stations. You can find your assigned station, time slot, and hall in the attached program file.
2. One best poster will be selected from each station and re-presented in the afternoon competition segment. The top three posters will be awarded.
3. Each poster presentation will be 3 minutes, followed by 2 minutes of discussion (total duration: 5 minutes). Exceeding the time limit may lead to disqualification.
4. Your presentation must be in PowerPoint format, incorporating images, charts, and other relevant details from your poster.
5. Submit your PowerPoint file via email using the format: Subject: Poster > Your Name > Station Number Example: Delegate ABC presenting at Station 10 → Poster > ABC > Station 10
6. PPT Ratio can be 16:9 .You can customize the template as per your requirements . As the ppt is presented in the TV – No vertical poster are entertained
7. Posters are presented in multiple slides in PowerPoint.Time limit is 3 minutes followed by 2 minutes of discussion
8. Bring your poster presentation on a pen drive and report to your assigned station 30 minutes before your scheduled slot.
9. All poster presentations will be held in Hall C.

Instructions for Paper Presentation:
1. All paper presentations will take place in Hall B.
2. Refer to the schedule chart to identify your assigned time slot.
3. Papers will be presented and evaluated on May 17, 2025. Each presentation will be 5 minutes, followed by 2 minutes of discussion (total duration: 7 minutes). Please adhere to the time limit.
4. The top 5 selected papers will be presented in the prestigious MRS Menon Short Paper Session at 8:00 AM on May 18, 2025. The time allotted for this session is 7 minutes for presentation, followed by 3 minutes of discussion (total duration: 10 minutes).
5. Submit your PowerPoint file via email using the format: Subject: Paper > Your Name > Station/Session Example: Delegate XYZ presenting in Session 3 → Paper > XYZ > Session 3
6. KASICON logo should be used in your ppt
7. Bring your presentation on a pen drive and report 30 minutes before your scheduled slot.
8. The PowerPoint can be shared via email as an attachment or through a drive link. If using a drive link, ensure that access is set to “Anyone with the link”
9. PPT Ratio can be 16:9 . You can customize the template as per your requirements . As the ppt is presented in the TV – No vertical posters are entertained
